“Una battaglia dopo l’altra” e “The White Lotus” guidano le nomination ai Golden Globes 2026

Sono state annunciate le nomination per la 83ª edizione dei Golden Globes, che come da tradizione dà il via alla stagione dei premi cinematografici e televisivi.

Per quanto riguarda i film, il grande protagonista è Una battaglia dopo l’altra, che guarda tutti dall’alto grazie alle sue nove nomination e si posiziona subito come favorito. Subito dietro troviamo Sentimental Value con ben otto nomination e I peccatori con sette. Nel campo della televisione, invece, è The White Lotus il titolo più nominato con ben sei candidature, seguito a stretto giro da Adolescence.

Quest’anno i Golden Globes hanno mostrato anche una certa apertura a produzioni internazionali, animazioni e – per la prima volta – un nuovo premio dedicato ai podcast.

Netflix, che di recente ha sorpreso Hollywood con il suo accordo da 82,7 miliardi di dollari per acquisire Warner Bros. e HBO, è la più nominata con 35 candidature tra cinema e televisione. Subito dietro si è posizionata proprio la società che intende acquistare, con Warner Bros. e HBO che hanno ricevuto complessivamente 31 nomination.

I Golden Globe sono un evento meno formale rispetto agli Oscar o agli Emmy. Lo champagne scorre liberamente, l’evento si svolge in un ambiente simile a un supper club, e non è insolito che un premiato un po’ alticcio salga sul palco o si perda la consegna del premio a causa di una pausa bagno arrivata nel momento sbagliato. La presidente Helen Hoehne lo ha lasciato intendere quando sono state annunciate le nomination, definendoli “la festa dell’anno di Hollywood”.
