I Brit Awards 2025, tenutisi il 1° marzo presso la O2 Arena di Londra, hanno celebrato i migliori artisti del panorama musicale britannico e internazionale. Tra i grandi vincitori della serata spicca Charli XCX, che ha trionfato in ben cinque categorie, consolidando il successo del suo album Brat.
Grossa delusione per i fan dei Cure che non hanno vinto in nessuna categoria per le quali erano candidati: Album dell’Anno (che è andato a Brat), Gruppo dell’Anno (Ezra Collective) e Miglior Artista Rock/Alternativo (Sam Fender). Nonostante il grande atteso ritorno con Songs of a Lost World, il primo album in studio dopo più di 15 anni, la band di Robert Smith è rimasta a mani vuote.
Per quanto riguarda i premi internazionali: Sabrina Carpenter ha vinto il Global Success Award e Good Luck, Babe di Chappell Roan si è aggiudicato la statuetta per la miglior canzone internazionale e alla cantante statunitense è andato anche il riconoscimento come artista dell’anno. Il Brit Award per il miglior gruppo internazionale è andato ai Fontaines D.C., mentre quello per l’artista emergente alle Last Dinner Party.
