The Boroughs – Ribelli senza tempo è una serie fantascientifica e mystery prodotta per Netflix dalla casa di produzione Upside Down Pictures, fondata dai Duffer Brothers (produttori di Stranger Things). La serie è stata ideata da Jeffrey Addiss e Will Matthews e ha debuttato nel 2026.
Ambientata in una tranquilla comunità per pensionati nel deserto del Nuovo Messico, racconta la storia di Sam Cooper, un vedovo appena trasferito che, dopo un inquietante incontro con una creatura misteriosa, si unisce a un gruppo di anziani residenti per indagare sui segreti nascosti dietro l’apparente serenità del luogo. Ben presto emergerà una minaccia soprannaturale legata al tempo, all’immortalità e a una presenza extraterrestre che mette in pericolo l’intera comunità.
