Lo scorso anno, sotto l’alias di Alec Owen, ha inciso un album (L.E.T.H.A.L.) presentandosi come Noah Yorke da Oxford, United Kingdom, tra ballate al piano, drum’n’bass, folktronica e wave; quest’anno il figlio di Yorke viene allo scoperto e firmandosi nome e cognome pubblica Trying Too Hard (Lullaby), brano acustico alla chitarra, intonato e cantato come farebbe il papà frontman dei Radiohead.
La canzone, disponibile per lo streaming da qualche giorno, venerdì scorso ha catturato l’attenzione di Jonny Greenwood che l’ha prontamente commentata, definendola uno «splendido brano musicale».

Nel frattempo Thom Yorke e Stanley Donwood hanno annunciato la co-curatela di How To Completely Disappear, una mostra da Christie’s che dal 9 al 15 ottobre esporrà una raccolta di opere relative a Kid A e Amnesiac, coppia di lavori che verranno ristampati a novembre con un bonus album, Kid Amnesiae.
