Si sono aperti oggi alle 8:00 i seggi per il voto in Gran Bretagna, nazione che dovrà decidere se rimanere o meno in Europa. Alle urne sono attesi più di 46 milioni di cittadini e probabilmente i risultati definitivi saranno comunicati domani mattina, anche se già questa notte dovremmo avere un’indicazione sull’orientamento al voto. Come sappiamo, David Cameron e il leader laburista Jeremy Corbyn sono per il “Remain” e così anche vari musicisti: Brian Eno, ad esempio, ha scritto una lettera aperta via Facebook, mentre i Portishead hanno dedicato il videoclip di SOS (cover degli Abba) a Jo Cox (la deputata inglese contraria al Brexit assassinata lo scorso 16 giugno a Birstall).
A loro si sono accodati nelle ultime ore anche Four Tet, con un breve video via Twitter, i Disclosure, con un messaggio sempre via Twitter, ma anche Johnny Marr e Geoff Barrow (Beak> e Portishead), che hanno fatto paragoni tra Nigel Farage e il regime nazista, oltre a Elton John, Gruff Rhys e Blood Orange.
