Black to the Future è il quarto album in studio dei Sons of Kemet disponibile dal 15 maggio 2021 via Impulse! Records. Il disco arriva a tre anni di distanza dal precedente Your Queen Is A Reptile ed è nato come risposta all’uccisione di George Floyd nel 2020. Molti sono gli ospiti: Angel Bat Dawid, Moor Mother, D Double E e tanti altri.
“Black to the Future” è un poema sonoro per invocare il potere, il ricordo e la guarigione. Rappresenta un movimento per ridefinire e riaffermare cosa significa lottare per il potere nero.
