I fan di Paul McCartney hanno un motivo in più per andarlo a vedere dal vivo. Tornato a suonare all’interno del Got Back Tour negli Stati Uniti, l’ex Beatle ha inserito in scaletta una particolare versione di I Got A Feeling.
Il brano del Fab Four è stato eseguito in duetto virtuale accanto a John Lennon, che è comparso nello schermo alle spalle del musicista. Il filmato risale al 1969 e, da quanto segnalano su FarOut Magazine, si tratta della prima esecuzione di questo tipo per Macca, che ha adottato una modalità con la quale i Queen (vedi Bohemian Rhapsody nel 2005) hanno avuto senz’altro più dimestichezza negli ultimi anni.
Il Got Back Tour è partito lo scorso 28 aprile dalla Spokane Arena, dell’omonima città nello Stato di Washington. Il duetto virtuale è stato proposto durante un bis interamente dedicato a brani dei Beatles, tra cui anche Birthday e Carry That Weight. Altre particolarità della scaletta: la versione all’ukulele di Something, dedicata a George Harrison, e Here Today scritta nel 1982 e dedicata a Lennon.
