Ad Rock dei Beastie Boys e il suo satirico contributo ai 500 migliori album per Rolling Stone

Con le orecchie e e le retine letteralmente folgorate dal documentario Beastie Boys Story e dallo streaming dell’ultimo concerto del trio dello scorso mese, torniamo a parlavi di Beastie Boys, o meglio di una parte di loro. Ve la ricordate la tanto discussa classifica dei 500 migliori album di Rolling Stone pubblicata in versione aggiornata tre settimane fa? Ebbene Ad Rock era presente tra le 300 personalità tra artisti, produttori, critici e pezzi grossi del mondo dell’industria discografica interpellate per la sua compilazione. Come è noto, ognuno degli invitati doveva consegnare una personale top 50, lista che in seguito lo staff di RS avrebbe rielaborato ottenendo la classifica finale di cui vi avevamo proposto un estratto in una notizia dedicata.

A distanza di un po’ di tempo, la rivista ha svelato la selezione del rapper e attore statunitense sottolineandone lo sfottò.
