Elvis Presley: The Searcher verrà trasmesso su HBO il prossimo 14 aprile: si tratta di un documentario di tre ore sul Re del rock & roll diretto da Thom Zimny e che prende in considerazione la vita di Elvis Presley, dall’infanzia fino alle ultime sessioni di registrazioni del 1976 al Jungle Room. Il film contiene anche interviste a musicisti, produttori, ingegneri che lo hanno conosciuto o che sono stati profondamente influenzati dal suo lavoro, oltre a riprese degli interni di Graceland (la casa del musicista) e a immagini del tutto inedite. Il prossimo 6 aprile verrà inoltre pubblicata la colonna sonora del film, in un cofanetto composto da tre CD (o due dischi in vinile) con all’interno musica originale di Presley ma anche brani di altri artisti.
