Al prossimo Sundance Film Festival, previsto dal 24 gennaio al 3 febbraio 2019, debutterà As Told To G/D Thyself, nuovo cortometraggio targato Kamasi Washignton e diretto da un collettivo chiamato Ummah Chroma, che comprende Washington, il direttore della fotografia Bradford Young, Terence Nance, Jenn Nkiru e Marc Thomas. Il filmato si ispira all’ultimo album del musicista, Heaven & Earth, di cui conterrà anche qualche estratto.
