A Harvest Of Dread
Cofanetto commemorativo per i My Dying Bride. La storica band doom metal inglese viene celebrata dalla Peaceville Records il 24 maggio 2019 con A Harvest Of Dread, un box che contiene rarità, tracce demo, registrazioni live e un libro con copertina rigida di 92 pagine che racconta la storia del gruppo. Il volume parte dagli inizi nel West Yorkshire, fino all’apice del successo nel panorama metal internazionale e contiene interviste a membri della band (passati e presenti) e ad altri artisti associati alla scena dai primi anni ’90 in poi.
Come audio, il boxset contiene cinque dischi e un’ampia selezione di rarità presentate per la prima volta. Tra gli altri i brani in pre-produzione di The Angel & the Dark River, Like Gods of the Sun, oltre a una raccolta dei primi lavori della band, inclusa la demo di Towards the Sinister, più un concerto dal vivo filmato nel 1997. A rendere ancora più importante questa raccolta di rarità, la selezione speciale di brani della discografia scelti dai membri principali Aaron Stainthorpe e Andrew Craighan, inclusi i loro commenti inediti sulla genesi di ogni brano.
