Ed Banger 15 Ans
Tre lustri di attività per la benemerita etichetta house/techno francese Ed Banger: perché non festeggiarli con un album celebrativo? Esce per l’appunto il 23 novembre 2018 e si intitola Ed Banger 15 Ans la compilation ideata dal patron della label Pedro Winter, in arte Busy P, già manager dei Daft Punk nei primi anni della loro carriera e ideatore di uno dei più longevi “marchi di fabbrica sonori” del french touch. Il disco vede protagonista la parigina Orchestre Lamoureaux, che suona in un lungo medley totalmente in acustico, i brani dei principali artisti del roster. Si passa dai Justice con la storica We Are Your Friends al guru touch Laurent Garnier (Jacques In The Box), arrivando fino alle ultimissime uscite con Aulos di Vladimir Cauchemar. La performance è stata suonata dal vivo al teatro Grand Rex a Parigi a marzo 2018 ed è disponibile in streaming a questo link.
Il disco viene anticipato dal video di I Love You So dei Cassius: un collage che taglia e incolla le clip più rappresentative della storia della label.
