Il negozio Phonica Records apre nel settembre 2003 nel quartiere di Soho a Londra. Unico scopo per i fondatori Simon Rigg, Heidi Vanden Amstel e Tom Relleen, creare uno store (e poi una label) innovativo per la musica dance, che sia trasversale ai generi e alle culture. Dopo oltre 10 anni lo shop è diventato tappa obbligata per qualsiasi DJ e amante della musica.
Per celebrare l’anniversario, i tre soci hanno invitato i loro artisti preferiti a produrre una traccia da inserire in una compilation. Tutto materiale originale e inedito in tre CD o vinili.
