È ufficialmente iniziata la stagione dei premi cinematografici. I Golden Globe, appuntamento che solitamente precede l’ultimo grande evento, quello degli Oscar, ogni anno premia i migliori film e prodotti televisivi votati dalla HFPA (Hollywood Foreign Press Association), formata da giornalisti della stampa estera. Dopo un’edizione passata sotto silenzio e non trasmessa in tv (a causa delle critiche di non inclusività), i Golden Globe tornano in diretta il 10 gennaio sulla NBC.
Tra le nomination appena annunciate, quest’anno appaiono nuove categorie: Miglior Attrice e Miglior Attore non protagonista in una serie tv Musical, Comedy o Drama; Miglior Attrice e Attore non protagonista in una serie tv Musical, Comedy o Drama; e Miglior Attrice e Miglior Attore non protagonista in una miniserie.
